Public forums & private workshops: a few housekeeping items!

A few "housekeeping" items that I would like to mention at this point in time, so that all members are aware:

  • The forums are now open for everyone. However, the automated registration has been disabled, therefore those who wish to join should send an email to Cornel Pacurar at cornelpacurar //at // gmail.com.
  • Registered members wishing to join a private workshop should request this by joining the corresponding usergroup (User Control Panel (top link) --> Usergroups (far-right tab) --> Select (radio button) --> Join Selected (drop-down) --> Submit (button)). To see the current group / workshop members, simply click on the usergroup name.
  • The original problems posted by members retain the "unpublished" status at all times (the workshops are private), and they can (and many will) be published at the author(s) discretion at a later time, thus they should be treated as such, with no exceptions. Before their actual publication, no reference to any of those problems should be made outside the corresponding private and protected workshop area.
  • Considerations regarding co-authorship have been published at the following URL: http://forums.chessproblems.ca/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=31

If any of you feel that more needs to be added or expanded, please feel free to do so here (this is a global topic, visible on all forums)!
